A Festival of Sex, Love and Death

At Islington’s Pleasance Theatre from 26 October to 4 November, this is a 10-day multi-arts event showcasing opera, dance, new writing, cabaret and physical theatre.

Featuring shows from eight companies, which are all coming together to create five different events, this is a celebration of the powerful forces that make us human.

The flagship production is Mozart’s masterpiece Don Giovanni, which brings opera to the Pleasance for the very first time and is led by an all-female creative team – putting women at the front and centre of what is thought to be a story about male lust.
