Friday 1 June – 100 days of busking!

Islington Council have organised for buskers to fill Navigator Square with great music for 100 days starting on 1 June.  Hopefully there will be 100 days of Summer too!

 

Sunday 24 June – Free Live World Cup Football Screening 

Outside Archway Library, 12pm – 6pm

Join the community to watch a live screening of two 2018 World Cup football matches plus a mini football tournament, pop-up refreshments and vintage football shirts on sale.

The following matches will be screened:

13:00 England v Panama

16:00 Japan v Senegal

This is a free event but ticketed due to limited space and tickets must be booked in advance.  Follow the link below to get free tickets for you and your family now.

Important Information

Seating will be on the floor so please feel free to bring your own cushions.  Chairs will only be allowed in a small area at the rear of the seating area so everyone with a ticket can enjoy the view.

This is a family event so no alcohol will be allowed into the screening area. There are lots of alternative, local options to watch the game with an alcoholic beverage.

Bag searches will be conducted on entry to the screening area.

It is an outdoors event, so please be prepared for the weather on the day.

This event is subject to change and cancellation.

 

 

Sunday 1 July – Archway Carnival

Get your head gear on and join in the carnival themed fun for all the family.

Saturday 14 July – Free Live Screening of Wimbledon Grand Slam Tennis  

Join us for a day of Wimbledon action outside Archway Library, along with refreshment stalls including Strawberries & Pimms!

The Wimbledon schedule for the day includes:

Ladies’ Singles Final (Starting 1pm)

Men’s Doubles Final

Ladies’ Doubles Final

Ladies’ Wheelchair Singles Final

Gentleman’s Wheelchair Doubles Final

The day will include pop-up refreshment stalls and activities for children and our very own Nintendo Wii tennis tournament!
