Summer Wellbeing Festival

Celebrating the wellbeing of our vibrant and diverse local community is at the heart of Manor Gardens Welfare Trust’s Summer Wellbeing Festival on Saturday 30 June between 12.30pm and 4.30pm.

Manor Gardens will be closed and activities will run all along the street, including in the Royal Northern Gardens.

“We’re planning a fantastic variety of activities that will make you feel good,’ says event organiser Felicity Ford, Director of Fundraising at Manor Gardens. “There will be something for all ages. We have the Whittington Park Steel Band, hot food, massage, activities for kids young and old, storytelling, bouncy castle, Arsenal penalty shoot out, plus taster sessions in yoga, tai chi, and hula hooping.

“There’s also be the usual mix of things to buy including a pre-loved stall and tombola in aid of our work. And if you feel in need of some energy there will be hot food and an Afternoon Tea Tent.”

Over 900 people attended the festival last year. It is open to everyone and is free. In the Royal Northern Gardens there will be games, face painting, Sow and Grow and activities on the ball court.

Manor Gardens Welfare Trust runs services which support some of the most vulnerable people in Islington and has been doing so since 1913.
