Flash mob dancers needed
People who have little or no professional dance experience are needed to take part in a flash mob at Cally Fest on Sunday 18 June
You will be working with a dance champion chosen by Sadler’s Wells and learning a new routine and perform it throughout the day to an audience, So if you want to learn something new, test your dance moves and have fun dancing with other colleagues sign up here by Friday 19 May.
Workshops will be taking place at: The Jean Stokes Community Hall, Coatbridge House, Carnoustie Drive, Islington, N1 ODX on Tuesday 30 May, Tuesday 6 June and Tuesday 13 June at 6pm.
Cally Fest is an annual celebration of everything the area has to offer. Each year, for one day the road is closed to traffic and more than 7,000 people come together to throw a huge party. Watch a video of last year’s Cally Fest here.

Why should I take part?
Dance is a great way get your body moving and have fun, get fit and increase your circle of friends
What is a Dance workshops?
A dance workshop is similar to an exercise class and is a fun way to get you moving to music with a group of people who will also be new.
What will happen during the workshop?
There will be an introduction to the dance, the dance teacher may ask you about any injuries or aches and pains you may have. Please let them know so that they can adapt the dance style for you. This will be followed by a warm up and will be followed by the session.
What age do I have to be?
All ages welcome
What dance styles will it cover?
Will there be any pic/video taken? What if I disagree?
We will be documenting the project and some of the sessions, if you disagree, please ensure that you tell us in advance. We make sure that the sessions that are being photographed we will include a notice on the door to let you know.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you like, but make sure that you are comfortable and your shoes have a flexible sole.
Should I bring food/drink?
Please bring water with you.
What happens when the dance classes finishes?
We want you to continue to dance, have fun and get fit and depending on what you want to do, we can recommend a number of places for to keep doing what you enjoy!
