Planting fun for In Bloom launch
Islington residents donned their gardening gloves for the Islington in Bloom 2018 launch weekend.
Plant plotting, nature trails and gardening advice sessions took place across Whittington Park, Paradise Park and Duncan Terrace Gardens on Saturday 14 April, marking the start of the competition to find Islington’s best gardens, balconies and window displays.
Then on Sunday 15, volunteers helped tidy up Gillespie Park and Nature Reserve ready for summer.
