Archway is the ideal place to visit if you love independent shops and quirky cafes. It’s a great place for families too with a library and leisure centre, as well as a vibrant children’s centre.
A new public space at the heart of Archway opened in 2017 offering a welcoming new place for residents and visitors to meet, relax, and enjoy, and for community events. See photos from the event.
The public launch event took place on Saturday 16 September 2017
Naming the public space
The new public space was created in partnership with the Mayor of London and Transport for London (TfL), as part of £12.6m works to replace the traffic dominated and outdated, inefficient one-way gyratory with two-way traffic, thereby helping to reconnect the town centre and shops.
