Forum + are hosting a wide variety of exciting events across Islington and Camden to celebrate Pride this year! And all residents are welcome to join their month of events and activities

Cooking With Pride

Tuesday 4 June, 6pm
St Luke’s Community Centre, EC1V 8AJ

Local charity forum+ and St Luke’s Community Centre are proud to celebrate Pride with a special and inclusive cookery class where you’ll come together to learn recipes and cook delicious Mexican food. Pride Cinema at Castlehaven Community Association

Thursday 6 June, 6-8pm

Celebrate Pride Month with a fantastic film screening of the French film 120 BPM! This vibrant and deeply emotional drama follows the lives of AIDS activists in the early 90s, balancing powerful themes of social justice with moments of euphoria.

Incite! LGBTQ Open Mic Pride Special

forum+ spoken word event Incite! is back in-person for a very special gig hosted by poet Hannah Chutzpah and featuring a selection of Incite!’s incredible performers! Take a seat in the audience at London’s longest-running LGBTQ+ spoken word event or reserve an open mic slot to share your own creativity! Booking for this special Pride Month gig is essential.

forum+ Pride Picnic & Summer Walk

Join the forum+ Pride Picnic! It will take place after the forum+ Summer Walk through Hampstead Heath. Starting at Hampstead Heath Overground Station and making their way over the Heath to our picnic spot near Parliament Hill Viewpoint. Enjoying food and drinks together wand you’re also welcome to join the event at Parliament Hill Viewpoint. Booking is essential and places are limited.

Join forum+ at Rainbow Paddlers for a kayaking session on the beautiful stretch of the Regent’s Canal in the heart of Camden and socialising too! Rainbow Paddlers is proud to be the first British Canoeing club in the UK to offer weekly adult paddle sport sessions run by and for the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride Day at the British Museum

Saturday 22 June, 11am-4pm
Great Russell St, London WC1B 3DG

Visit the British Museum and learn about LGBTQ+ history by discovering objects and stories within the museum’s collection. From drop-in craft activities and performances in the Great Court to storytelling sessions, and even tours of the galleries, this day is all about celebrating and highlighting queer histories! All activities will be free to join but pre-booking is essential.

Pride Panel: Trans Pride and Dyke March in Conversation

Pride season has arrived at Queer Britain Museum! Join a conversation with Shiv, Miggy (Trans Pride) and Stav (Dyke March) about the importance of Pride. The panel discussion will be an opportunity to hear about the history of each pride, challenges, and their hopes for the future. Tickets range from £0 – £10.

Join a fantastic day and night of fun and connect with like-minded people and celebrate Pride, drag and queerness through art at Dragage: Drag Collage and Mark-Making Workshop. And on the night of Pride in London get your dancing shoes on and hit the dancefloor to one of the best Irish Traditional Music Bands, Shanvaghera, for a Gaylí!
