Sunday 17 May is IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against Homopbobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. The theme this year is ‘Breaking The Silence’, and the amazing forum+ are hosting an online event to commemorate the day. Expect music, poetry and performance featuring Lisa Power LGBTQ rights campaigner, Xnthony award winning performer of cabaret and comedy, singing from the indomitable London Gay Men’s Chorus, and poetry from the incredible Hannah Chutzpah. You can read our interview with the brill Tessa Havers-Strong from forum+ too, to find out more about the amazing work they do.

For more information and a link to this free event please email info@forumplus.org.uk

If you want to read some incredible LGBT+ literature, check out this awesome e-book and e-audiobook list that Islington Libraries have pulled together for us, all available digitally. Don’t forget, you can sign Islington Council’s Hate Crime Pledge, to show your support in wiping out intolerance in Islington.
