Flying Families is a free programme of family yoga, aerial cocoon skills and outdoor exploration suitable for families with children aged 2-5 years.

No previous experience is required.

Sessions include:

  • Yoga for parents and children
  • Aerial skills using soft cocoons
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Fun theatrical games
  • Storytelling
  • Outdoor adventures in Queen’s Wood

Flying Families helps families relax and enjoy quality time together, exploring nature, building stronger relationships and improving health and wellbeing by learning physical and creative skills. You’ll try aerial skills using soft, elastic cocoons suspended at a low height which can be used for relaxation, or for more challenging physical skills.

You will also develop core strength and flexibility with family yoga, and explore the outdoors in Queen’s Wood, telling stories, building dens, and climbing on specially rigged spiderweb structures.
