Cooking with Pride

forum+ and St Luke’s Community Centre are running a special session of Cooking with Pride in celebration of Pride Month! When Atlas met Tantalus is a poignant new play highlighting issues of queer identity, community, public outing, and the way that history shapes our present, within a witty and engaging one-hour drama.

Pride cinema at Castlehaven Community Association 

Thursday 6 February, 6–8pm

Based on the director’s own experiences, this vibrant and deeply emotional drama follows the lives of AIDS activists in the early 1990s, balancing powerful themes of social justice with euphoric moments of spine-tingling sensuality.

Incite! LGBTQ+ open mic Pride special 

Wednesday 12 February, 7–9pm 
Housmans Bookshop, 5 Caledonian Road, N1 9DY

Hosted by performance poet Hannah Chutzpah and featuring a selection of Incite!’s incredible performers, this gig is going to be the perfect way to celebrate Pride Month. Take a seat in the audience at London’s longest-running LGBTQ+ spoken word event or reserve an open mic slot to share your own poetry, music, stand-up, or whatever else moves you! Booking is essential.

forum+ at Rainbow Paddlers

Friday 21 February, 5.30pm
The Pirate Castle, Oval Road, NW1 7EA

This relaxing kayaking session runs along a beautiful stretch of the Regent’s Canal and offers an opportunity to socialise while you paddle. Rainbow Paddlers has gone from strength to strength since launching in 2021 and is the first British canoeing club to offer weekly adult paddle sport sessions run by and for the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride Day at the British Museum 

Saturday 22 February, 11am–4pm
The British Museum, Great Russell Street, WC1B 3DG

From drop-in craft activities and performances in the Great Court to storytelling sessions, from art workshops to tours of the galleries, this day is all about celebrating and highlighting queer stories, histories, and people from the past to the present day. All activities will be free to join but pre-booking to enter the museum and some of the planned activities is essential.

Pride panel: Trans Pride and Dyke March in conversation

Sunday 23 February, 1.30–3.30pm

Join a conversation with Shiv, Miggy (Trans Pride) and Stav (Dyke March) about the importance of Pride. The panel discussion will be an opportunity to hear about the history of each, pride, challenges, and their hopes for the future. Tickets range from free to £10.

Celebrate Pride at the London Irish Centre and join a fantastic day and night of fun on Saturday 29th February! Connect with like-minded people and celebrate Pride, drag and queerness through art at Dragage: Drag Collage and Mark-Making Workshop. On the night of Pride in London get your dancing shoes on and hit the dancefloor to one of the best Irish Traditional Music Bands, Shanvaghera, for a Gaylí.
