Islington youth council

Bike safety sessions, a group run round the Emirates and parent workshops: 25 June–1 Aug 

Helping children and young people develop confidence, feel safe and get advice and support with the Standing Together programme this summer. All activities are free and include workshops for parents, bike safety courses, group runs, sports and family fun days. See what’s on and get involved.


Adolescent-to-adolescent relationship abuse

In this webinar, parents and carers will learn how to spot the signs of emotional abuse and coercive control in young people’s relationships.

Bike maintenance and personal safety course

Learn how to fix and maintain your bike so you stay safe while riding. Open to all young people aged 13-19 on a first come, first served basis.

Keeping young people safe workshop

Expert speakers will empower parents and carers to help the young people in their lives feel safe and secure. Connect with other parents and carers as well as support services and enjoy a hot meal, goodie bag and raffle.

A fun and interactive workshop to equip young people with practical knowledge and skills to stay safe in a variety of situations.  

 Open to all young people aged 13–19. No need to book, just turn up. 


Running with the Brothers

Emirates Stadium, Hornsey Road, N7  7AJ

With an emphasis on community, brotherhood and a no-ego zone, join a weekly run around the Emirates Stadium. In the evenings connect with your new running mates over dinner at local restaurants.
