Celebrating Islington apprentices in National Apprenticeship Week
Apprenticeships are a great way to earn and learn, get work experience and a qualification. But more than that they bring people’s ideas and dreams to life.
Millie was working in retail but wanted a more permanent role with a qualification.
Roy wanted to become an electrician when he left school.
Sophie worked in the media but her passion lay in education.
Shereen wanted to become a carpenter with a professional qualification and real work experience.
Find out more about apprenticeships on the Islington Council website.
