Making room for Better Space in Islington
Better Space is celebrating the launch of its new affordable workspace at the Ray building on Farringdon Road, with a series of events and taster sessions aimed at encouraging small businesses and social enterprises to find out more about the opportunities the space has to offer.
Better Space is a 10-year collaboration — between Islington Council and City, University of London — that will provide genuinely affordable workspace and social value for the benefit of residents, businesses and communities.
As well as providing workspace at below market rents, Better Space will also deliver employment and skills opportunities for Islington residents, provide expert business support, mentoring and networking opportunities for both members and local people.
This week, Better Space is opening its doors to give everyone a chance to find out more about the space and the support available. Taster sessions and tours will be available between 21 -23 July 2021 and a spot can be booked by emailing the Better Space team.
Better space will also be offering free 1-1 support and mentoring sessions for Islington residents and local businesses looking to take their business ideas further. If you would like more information or to book an appointment you can contact the Better Space team directly.
You can also find out more about Better Space and other business events taking place locally by signing up to the Better Space newsletter.
