IslingtonLife magazine advertising policy

1. About the magazine

IslingtonLife is Islington Council’s community-focused magazine. The magazine is produced quarterly with a print run of 114,000 copies delivered to every household in the borough as well as libraries, community centres, leisure centres, health centres and council buildings.

The magazine showcases the council’s work on its key strategic priorities primarily through residents’ stories in a friendly informal tone of voice. It is the largest direct communications channel from the council which is also promoted online with a digital version of the magazine and through our social channels.

To cover some of the procution cost and to promote the work of local businesses that benefits our communities we offer paid advertising space. This should be secondary to our own messages and should complement the magazine content.
