Measles cases are rising in Islington
Measles is a serious illness and can spread easily to others. It can cause hearing loss, pneumonia, blindness, brain swelling and, in rare cases, death.
Around 1 in 5 children who catch measles end up in hospital.

The best and safest way to protect you and your family is to get vaccinated:

Know the symptoms
- Starts like a cold, with a fever and red eyes
- A bumpy rash then appears (pictured)
- Sometimes there will be small white spots inside the mouth
