Age UK Islington get-togethers

Regular activities to keep active, meet others and explore new interests for adults of all ages
Events at Age UK Islington are for everyone – whether you’re a teen (aged 16-plus) looking for football sessions with Arsenal, an older adult looking for connection at a monthly park cuppa or a carer in need of support. Most of the sessions are free, too.
Weekly activities include everything from pickleball at Islington Tennis Centre and pilates at King Square Community Centre to Lego-building sessions at The Toy Project. Look out for one-off trips to places like Kew Gardens, too.
Visit the Age UK Islington website for full listings and to book.
On 21 August and 18 September, 10.30am–1.45pm, 222 Upper Street is hosting Let’s Talk peer events – the first on taking control of your health and reducing the risk of asthma COPD and diabetes, the second on learning to cut costs around the home.
Booking is essential. Call the Age UK Islington helpline on 020 7281 6018 or letstalk@ageukislington.org.uk to attend.
