Community Gardening at Whittington Park
Join us for a series of relaxed, friendly gardening sessions at Whittington Park, where we’ll be planting native wildflowers, hedging, bulbs, fruit trees, and creating wildlife habitats. These sessions are a great way to spend time in nature, learn and share skills, and meet new people.
All sessions are free and open to everyone (under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult). No experience needed – tools, gloves, guidance, and refreshments are provided.
Upcoming sessions:
- Thursday 16 October 2025, 10am–12pm – Meadow regeneration
- Thursday 13 November 2025, 10am–12pm – Naturalising bulbs
- Tuesday 6 January 2026, 10am–12pm – Orchard tree planting with The Orchard Project (optional free volunteers lunch at 1pm)
Register by clicking the eventbrite links above.
