London Cycling Festival

Get ready to explore London on two wheels as the London Cycling Festival returns on Saturday 20 September with a packed programme of family-friendly rides and cycling activities across the capital.

Following a successful first year, the festival is back bigger than ever, with more than 30 inclusive cycle rides taking place across London. Designed for families, children and less confident cyclists, the rides offer a fun and accessible way to discover local neighbourhoods and enjoy the benefits of cycling.

This year, Islington is one of 19 participating boroughs taking part in the festival, alongside events and rides organised by local councils, community groups and the London Cycling Campaign.

The festival will also feature four activity hubs in Westminster, the City of London, Tower Hamlets and Richmond, offering entertainment, music, games, cycling activities and information stalls throughout the day.

Whether you’re a regular cyclist or trying it for the first time, the London Cycling Festival is a chance to get active, meet others and enjoy safer, people-friendly streets.
