BookTrust Storytime is an exciting library experience for families, offering a fun and easy way to entertain under‑5s at your local library. Come along for free, lively activities in a space where you can enjoy stories together.

The programme is part of BookTrust’s Early Years journey, which also includes the Bookstart Toddler and Pre‑schooler programme.

Launched in 2019, the BookTrust Storytime Prize celebrates the best books for sharing with children aged 0–5. Since 2021 it has formed part of the wider BookTrust Storytime programme, supporting libraries to inspire families to enjoy stories together and make visiting the library a regular part of family life.
