Free London Repair Week events
Textile repair drop-ins
Two Tuesday’s a month, drop-in from 10am-4pm
FC Designer Collective, 113-115, Fonthill Road, N4 3HH
These drop-in sessions provide you with the opportunity to get professional support and advice on upcycling and repairing clothes and to use tailoring equipment free of charge to ensure you get the most out of your clothes to extend their lifespan. Bring your own items and pins, if you wish to use them.
Free textile repair and upcycling drop-in session

Get professional support and advice upcycling your old clothes, for free! The session runs from 10am–4pm and you can drop in throughout the day. Please bring your own items and pins, if you wish to use them. Please book in advance to help us to ensure that we can help you on the day.
Islington Fixers Repair Party
Saturday 7 March, 12-4pm
Mildmay Library, 21-23 Mildmay Park, N1 4NA
Islington Fixers will help you fix your broken electricals and electronics to save them from waste. The focus of the event will be skill-sharing, where you take an active role in the repair.
Booking is optional but recommended. There is a maximum of two items per person.

Furniture and small wooden items upcycling and repair workshop
Thursday 5 March. 8.30am-3.30pm
Bush Industrial Estate, Station Road, N19 5UN
Learn basic woodwork skills from experts and bring along small or medium wooden items: chests of drawers, bed side cabinets, shelving units, chairs, small table, picture frame, spice rack for repair and upcycling on the spot. You will be able to fix, polish, varnish, paint or apply patterns to your items.
Booking is essential. If the event shows as fully booked please email us, as we might be able to still add you to the list. After booking please submit picture of the item and what you would like to do, to allow us to be prepared and to help you promptly.
