Islington menorah-lighting

Ceremonial menorah lighting, live music, traditional food, crafts, and festivities: Sunday 14 December

Come and witness the annual ceremonial lighting of the nine-branch menorah, returning to Islington Green on Upper Street for the tenth year on Sunday 14 December. Hosted by Chabad Islington, a charity serving our Jewish community, this free event marks the first night of Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, and is open to all.

Watch the lighting, sing traditional songs, dance to live klezmer, make your own water colour Chanukah cards, play the dreidel tuck into delicious latkes, doughnuts and hot chocolate!

Visit the Chabad Islington website to find out more.
