Whitecross Street Market

Whitecross Street Market is one of the oldest markets in London. You’ll find it between Old Street and Fortune Street in the south of the borough, with stalls selling clothes, handcrafted jewellery and household items.
During the week, it’s also a hotspot for street food, with one of its stall holders, Chalang Rashid, picking up an award for Market Trader of the Year 2021. Sample delicious food from all over the world, including Chalangs’ award-winning Kurdish takeaway, Korean bibimbap, burritos, fresh pizza and much more.
Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags and food containers to help keep the market sustainable and reduce waste.
